Reading Crusade

Today at singing assembly we had a draw to see who would be going to meet the Crusaders. All the people who completed the Reading Crusade form went into the draw. The winner was Bradford Thomson, Room 1.

Yogi pod

On Friday we got to have Yogipod and it was delicious. Yogipod is the best frozen yoghurt in the whole wide world. The flavours are blueberry, strawberry and raspberry. Nicola, Harrison's mum is good at making yummy frozen yoghurt.

We put lots of colours on our paper with crayon first then we painted black over the top. The next day we used nails to make our scraper pictures. We think they look cool.

In a Minutes Time

Room 18 has been learning about Time with sand.  We have been learning about minutes.  Today we had to make a sand timer that lasted for 1 minute. We had to go in pairs and share the stopwatches and equipment. We found using the timers hard so we are going to have another go tomorrow. By Keira & Bree.

Fitness

We have been doing daily fitness this term. The children have been getting fit while having fun.

Room 18 Blogging

Room 18 children are going to start to write on the blog. We can't believe how easy it is to do!  Watch this space for our blogs!

We had perfect weather for a trip to the Groynes today.  A huge thank you to all the parents that were able to to join us.  I hope the photos and movie to come will make the rest of the parents feel like you were there too!  This is just a few pics thanks to resident photographer Natasha Pollard.

The room has gone to the rabbits!

A big thank you to Jo for bringing Nekera's rabbits into class. Everyone enjoyed having a pat and cuddle AND no toileting accidents - phew!!

Team Work with Paddles

We have been having lots of fun learning how to work together more successfully!  Mr Mabin has these cool paddles that only work if we listen to each other and all co-operate.  Room 17 are the pros and have been sharing their learning with Room 18.  Watch out Mrs Hutchings your class is next.
